Very good pictures – Thank You
Thanks very much John. 🙂
How is it these photos evoke a nostalgia? Love the images.
Thanks very much Steven.
The change to antique tonal monochrome completely alters the message from normal colour. The codes and conventions of photography has conditioned us to associate it with another time & place. I also chose images that had limited/vague association with a particular time & place, minimized the anachronism.
Most of my Antique Impressions work is on my blog Dark Pines Photo – I just did a Surreal Thursday post and this Antique set seemed better suited to Implied Spaces theme. 🙂
Great shots. Nicely melancholy.
Thanks very much Richard.
Thanks Brenda. Glad you enjoyed the sequence.
I love how you turned one on its side,I often do that to change the whole feel of the piece great work excellent job
Thanks very much Sheldon. The paving stones and the slope of the driveway provides multiple ways of viewing the semi-abstracts. 🙂
