Reflecting on Spaces Above & Below the Surface

Reflecting

Spaces

Above

&

Below

The Surface,….

Reflecting on Spaces Above & Below the Surface 2

The light takes flight,

diving down into the sky,

clinging to lily pads

folding into wings

running above the ground,

twisting into colour

flapping into sepia,

flickering into the mist edged corners

that haunt like silhouettes’ shadows

lapping at the water’s reedy shore

that bends into sand.

Framing the sky in watery depths

trees root down with their branches into the clouds

that hang like diffuse water lilies

drifting into heavy haze –

a forest of feathered horizon lines

beating the air with splashes of still sound

that race towards silent calm.

    1. Thanks very much Richard. It was a bit of an experiment, applying techniques in a different layer sequence and using a environment portrait shot.

    1. Thanks Derrick. Each of the original shots had some weakness , there were lighting issues. Decided to play with processing to see where it would lead. πŸ™‚

    1. Many thanks Lee. I would guess that our Canada Geese have not managed to reach your shores. New Zealand has kept them under control. They are becoming annoyingly ubiquitous ( along with their droppings) here in North America. They have also invaded parts of Europe.
