Winter Transition

Winter Transition

Winter weather and snow did no arrive till after Christmas.

Definitely not  “normal January winter weather” – Ontario, Canada ……….

Between freeze, too much darkness does not last ,

Ice definitely arrives on the Lake;

Few Temperatures go over the bells of snow,

It does yet shake frozen Canadian Celsius Ontario;

Weather sleeps on lake, rolls over.

Please refer to the higher percentage

Of Happy Snow located next to the first day after Christmas.

Temperature evening entertainment,

For there was no leashing of the shores,

It was a blue day that brings time –

the possibility of an icy night,

at the centre,

the Forest of Sparse Winter .

Last night was the first really cold night, minus 23 Celsius.

As you can see, there is a sparse amount of snow –

The lake , yet to completely freeze over   –

the temperatures go back to zero in the next few days….

Not that you can really completely minus “normal evening in the woods”

from the zero of sparse Winter Snow.

After Year’s end is night –

followed by the snow of January’s cold

To reach the season  of  waveless  lakes –

This is a dark pear lake,

but it lacks a frozen commitment.

  1. Seems weather strange… not only in there, in here too. Seasons should have confused… What did we make to our planet? Is it all about us…? or something happens naturally on earth… I don’t know… I loved your art work dear Joseph, but as always. Thank you, have a nice day, love, nia

    1. We seem to have triggered some sort of extreme cycle and sped up processes. One can only wonder at what the younger generations will face. Take care Nia. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much for that comparison. I have updated my PaintShop Pro software and it included some new plugins. Fluid and Gel produce some interesting results. 🙂

    1. Thanks for dropping by. Glad you enjoyed the post. We are now sitting at about minus three. getting a bit mushy under foot. 😀
