Escaping the Screen

escaping the screen

Escaping the screen

the icons trod on, talking –

total limits end…….

convergence opens –

a circular retreat here,

butterfly petals.

So like ideas to exceed the medium in which they have been generated,

the moon adjusts pixel resolution,

becomes digital allegory,

information looms –

dips on the shifting horizon.

    1. Thanks, glad you enjoyed the post. I started with a screen capture of my desktop. Incorporated a recent photograph and modified from there. 🙂

    1. Thanks Derrick. The image came to me as a consequence of observing our recent full moon and noticing how the portion of the image ( lower left quadrant ) with its degraded elements and aged colours resembled a moon . 🙂

    1. Many thanks. I started just playing with a screen capture of my desktop screen, and then noticed that in the process of alteration, how it appeared as if the static icons and image were trying to escape the confines & rigidity of the screen. As they escaped their binding, they changed form and media context. Change the medium and you alter the message that was original conveyed. 🙂
