Selong Sleep – Memcon

Memconshort form for memorandum of a conversation

He saw his true love for the first time as she came down the hill, hips rolling to the rhythm of summer’s smiles. Fate watched the encounter with the eyes of a stone owl, as events drifted in the gentle warm breezes of anticipation and uncertainty.

Kakistocracya state or country run by the worst, least qualified, uninformed, or most unscrupulous citizens.

In such a state of things, to be accused is to be condemned—to protect the innocent is to be guilty; and what perhaps is the worst effect, even men of better nature, to whom their own deeds are abhorrent, are goaded by terror to be forward and emulous in actions of guilt and violence.

In the 1838 Memoir on Slavery, U.S. Senator William Harper compared kakistocracy to anarchy, and said it had seldom occurred.

    1. Actually, only snippets are fully formed. This started as a lengthy spam comment in a mix of a couple of languages ( never saw that variety before), so I decided to deconstruct the garble into asemic dialogue.

Technically, the term should be memcom ( the link in the blog takes you to an interesting analysis of memcom & the fired FBI director’s approach to Trump) . Memcon suggests to me that memory is being conned/reconfigured.

A couple of other side notes – I sat on most this text for a week, not sure what I was going to do with it. Within that time events zipped by and a wider context came into existence giving meaning to parts of the text that were not there before. I then added some lines that were more structured.
the day after I ran across the term Kakistocracy , I heard it being used on a news report-analysis of current Washington events. 😀

Some of the images were from early posts on Dark Pines Photo, clicking them will take you to the original posts. 🙂

      Thanks for commenting.

  1. The lines from ” Gather up scattered facts” to “empty voices” really spoke to me; but I also liked the unguided tour round all these snippets of text and my half-successful attempts to relate text to pictures.

    1. Thanks for interest. Glad that the post connected with you. I have a lengthy response to Derrick’s comment that goes into the background on this post. The post stewed and developed over a week before taking on this final form. 😀
Part of the key in understanding some elements is that I called it memcon rather than memcom. So a memorandum of communication that is memory con/reconfiguration.
