Summer Bleeds into Fall

Green sears into red,

slough summer bleeds into Fall –

framed  season’s etched ridge.

Slowly smoking red

stains the corners of picture –

time’s brushed memory,

a moment smeared perfectly,

touch the rough edges, cut, bleed.

    1. Thanks Derrick. The road trip was a one day jaunt to Sudbury ( medical & shopping) . Going somewhere in many parts of Canada ( like Northern-ish Ontario) requires driving ( often with road maintenance or weather issues). 😀
